October 2017 week ending 7/10/2017

It was tough going this week with the bigger fish refusing to play ball and the fishing was pretty slow around the venue.
Biggest fish of the week fell to the rods of Stuart Rawling who managed to bank a 58-04; he also managed a 40+ and a few 30s so well done Stuart. Top rod was Chris Yeoman in peg 50 on lake 5 where he banked a 23 fish haul that included four 40s to 47lb and eleven 30s, that’s very good angling on a tough week, well done Chris. Del Mooney got amongst them with a 53lber and backed that up with three 40s so well done Del. Gary West had a 53-08 and went on to bank two 40s and four 30s amongst his nine fish so well done Gary. Charlie Taylor had a quite week but did bank a 56lber so the trip was well worth it for him, well done Charlie. Stuart Evenden had three 40s and four 30s and Sam Baxter also banked three 40s so well done to you both. Steve Chapman had a decent week banking three 40s and three 30s and quite a few others had multiple 40s so well done you all.
Perseverance and patience was defiantly order of the day because the fish seemed so moody, but even when there in that mood there were still 150 fish over 30lb landed.
