September 2019 week ending 21/9/2019

Once again folks Cretelakes has produced the goods with the anglers landing 7 sixties this week, yes folks that’s 7 sixties!!! So we will begin with the biggest fish of the week, the title goes to one very happy angler smashing his PB not once but twice in a week, step up to the podium Simon Pepper, Simon's first PB on his first visit to Cretelakes weighed in at 40lb 2oz Buzzing with that one, Simon then went on later in the week to annihilated that with an absolute monster if a mirror carp spinning the dial on the scales to a massive 68lb 8oz, top angling Simon and congratulations on your new PB, there’s a week he'll never forget.


 

Next up is Larry Miller landing a proper cheese which weighed in at a huge 61lb 2oz good angling Larry and well done on your new PB. Damien Hughes landed a total of 13 carp this week including 5 thirties, 5 forties, 2 fifties and smashing his PB with an awesome looking mirror carp which span the dial on the scales to a beastly 64lb 8oz top angling Damien and congratulations on your new PB


 

Next up is Sam Parr who decided on a bit of short range fishing, sticking to his spots proved to be the winning formula as Sam landed 5 carp including 1 thirty, 3 forties and the icing on the cake was a new PB for Sam in form of a beast of a mirror carp which weighed in at an immense 61lb on the nose, good angling Sam and well done.


 

Last but certainly not least we have father and son Bill and Billy Gladwin fishing and sharing their special moments together as Bill was recovering from a recent operation, landing 8 carp between them which included 1 forty, 4 fifties and topped with a total of 3 sixties, again both sticking to their spots producing the goods even after a quiet couple of days, the spots were topped up and they stuck with it and they were both rewarded as billy was first to bank his new PB a G-unit of a mirror carp weighing in at an enormous 63lb 12oz, next it was dad Bill who was well happy to see what had graced his net as another absolute chunk lay before him, also smashing his PB as this beauty weighed in at a huge 63lb it was then Billys turn again as he banked his second sixty of the week, a proper brute spinning the dial on the scales to an awesome 60lb 8oz a very special week for both I think you’ll agree, top angling lads and congratulations on your new PBs bangin result that and memories that will stay with them forever.

 

Now to mention some of the other PBs banked this week, first up is Lance Garbett banking himself a forty and 2 fifties the biggest of which was a new PB which weighed in at a 56lb 8oz good angling Lance and well done on your new PB.


James Blackwell had a good week landing 5 carp including 2 twenties, 1 thirty, a forty and a new PB which span the dial on the scales to 53lb On the nose, top angling James and congratulations.


Rob Sprake who had a haul of 19 carp including 11 twenties, 5 thirties, 2 forties and topped that off with a new PB weighing in at 54lb 1oz good angling Rob and well done on your new PB


A few more fifties to mention before we get to top Rod of the week

Clive Streeter with 7 carp including 1 twenty, 1 thirty, 3 forties and 2 fifties the biggest of which weighed in at 58lb 14oz


Dan Riley with 4 carp, 1 twenty, 1 thirty, 1 forty and a fifty at 54lb on the button

A big shout out to all of the anglers this week, some impressive results all round, well done to you all.

Barry Harrowing as you take the top spot this week with an impressive haul of 55 carp which included 2 doubles, 22 twenties, 26 thirties and 5 forties the biggest of which weighed in on the scales at 48lb what a week’s fishing that is folks AWESOME, congratulations
